Found Assets

Searching of Assets

I searched for assets on Sketchfab, Quixel, and Poly Haven, as I was sure I would find the assets and materials I needed from these websites. The assets which I had in mind before I started to create my environment were mainly objects you would generally find in a library. Such as, books, bookshelves, chairs, tables etc. However, since our environments were in the Infected/Corrupted theme, I then had to import assets which would not be generally found in a library, as this is where the fictional aspect comes into play. Assets such as, sleeping bags, torches, lamps, roots, decals and particle effects were all found. All of these assets were found, to show environmental storytelling. Additionally, I had to find assets which all were in the similar dark academia theme for my environment. As I could not have a cartoon asset and a real life asset in the same environment, as this would break the illusion of the environmental storytelling.
