Setup

For my lighting I placed my model onto a simple cylinder and then added a background and lights to give the illusion that the model was in a studio setup. The background was also scaled vertically and horizontally to ensure when the camera was moved that the plain background would not be shown.

Three Point Lighting

I had decided to use a three point lighting setup for my model. As this lighting technique allowed my model to be lit from all angles, for the rotational view and the close up views. I believe this lighting technique also showed the details of my model off well. As the shine from the lights gave the details a greater depth from the exposure of the lights.
